Question About Traders Den/Torrents

The last time I tried this I messed up my machine real bad with some
nasty bs anti-virus malware. Reinstalled windows, everything's fine.

I also now run Malwarebytes Anti-malware in addition to my AVG anti
virus software. (Didn't run Anti-malware before). I paid for the pro
version of Malwarebytes so that I have real time protection from
malware in addition to being able to scan the computer at the end of
the day.

So I went to Traders Den and identified some torrents that I wanted
and I DL'ed them. No issues. The last time around I used Azareus/
Vuze
as my client, but decided against that this time around for two
reasons, last time I felt like maybe my malware problem was related
to
Vuze, and also I felt Vuze was too bulky and had more crap than I
needed, I just need a client that will find the torrent file thats
already on my HD and then grab the files from the internet that
comprise the show Im DLing. So I DLed BitTorrent 6.3 and everything
works as its supposed to.

BUT. . .

I've been DLing a HUGE file (25.6GB) since last night, and I'm about
1/3 the way through. Seems though, that every 10-15 of minutes or
so,
the Malwarebytes software pops up a warning message telling me that
it
blocked access to an ip address. Each time its a different ip
address.
This is good, it prevented anything bad from infecting my hard drive,
and these pop up warnings have not interfered with the DL at all.
Thing is these pop ups are happening even when I'm not surfing the
web, they happen simply when BitTorrent is running and DLing.

Can somebody possibly explain the proces to me and why I am getting
these warnings?

I am unfamiliar with Malwarebytes but it sounds to me like it make be
a red herring. This behaviour sounds like your ISP throttling DL
speeds on Bit torrents.

Halden, this is perfect, I apologize I didn't do this work myself,
it's exactly what I needed to read, it explains perfectly. There is
definetly nothing bad happening to my machine. Thanks a million
brother.

I regularly download stuff that takes several days. Since my computer
is always on I don't really notice the waiting time.
