so I'm listening to a bunch of the Fest 8 shows and I realize I don't
know the words to half the songs. That's never been a strong point of
mine, for any band. I figured I'd google-ize lyrics to a few songs
and stumbled on this dude's blog fuckyouphish.com. OMG laughed my ass
off!

Parental Advisory: Don't bother if you're easily offended, have high
blood pressure, have a back or neck problems, and are pregnant or
nursing. This dude is rude, crude, and obnoxious. He gets a LOT of
hate mail posted but it's my feeling that the guy can't really hate
phish. He puts way too much time into his posts and he appears to have
a good bit of knowledge regarding the band. He pokes fun at the the
band and the fans. And ya gotta admit, sometimes he has some easy
targets :)

But then there is always the possibility that I may be way off base
here. Maybe the guy is a real a-hole and does indeed hate the band.
Whatever, if that's the case then I guess I'm laughing at him and not
with him.

it's like if maddox only wrote about phish all the time. ...and
updated more than once a year

I stumbled upon the site a few months ago, as well. As you mention,
the guy knows way to much about Phish to be a casual hater. He's
either writing ironically for comedy's sake or he once loved Phish and
no longer does. Either way, it's entertaining.

I heard some guy at 8 when Trey started talking between songs scream
"FUCK YOU TREY!! SHUT UP AND PLAY YOUR FUCKING GUITAR"...

I love Phish fans they can be the harshest most critical fans in all
of rock but also the most loyal....
