this show. great instramental tune. have they polished this one off in
2009?
talk about dustin off, about cincy, havent hear an "Albuquerque" since
Big Cypress. being a huge N.Young fan, i loved it. stats says last
time played was 9/14/00. i was just waiting for a "cheescake and
country ham" line:)))

Cypress was indescribable. Still haven't gone back to the
tapes....waiting for the 'right time'. Albuquerque is ingrain in my
brain from that night...all those songs are honestly. That whole
weekend was such a lucid experience. Don't know if I'll ever be able
to fully understand it, don't know if I want to. :)
What's the Use - this is the last time I heard this song too....and he
played it after flubbing fee which seems a bit appropriate. and then
finishing out the set with limbxlimb + loving cup with a lope
encore....man...such excitement, such energy.....

moments of my life. First set - Yamar just brings everyone into a
good mood right away. Uncle Pen, Moma, Drowned nice.. And then one
of the only 2 Chalkdust Torture Preprises, ridiculous and hilarious
followed, of course, by a blistering Chalkdust! A ponderous Theme (a
song that is climbing as one of my favorites) and finishes out with a
Cavern. Man, this was some good sh*t.
And this is before the set 2 insanity.....
A kid I met at our campsite had a bad trip, left during Yamar, and
missed this whole show. I feel for him.....

Moby Dick show is one of my all-time favorites. I have a slightly muddy
source, I hope they put it out someday.
I met my wife camping next to me at those shows and the rest as they say
is history, I mean phishtory. What's the Use was a special treat for sure.
That Loving Cup was the reason I bought her Exile on Main Street
(literally the first thing I ever gave her) and then almost 10 years
later, we were there for the Exile performance at 8.
Special times with a special band and special people too. Beautiful
synergy all the way around. And now RMP is back and better than ever too.
