first set a snoozer?
damn come on, it might not look like the best on paper, but they were
tight as fuck. one of the best chalkdust openers i have heard in a
long time. iam not a big TTE fan, but this song just keeps getting
better everytime, they nailed it.
and yes the Tweezer>light was mind melting.

This was a common review comment back in the '93, '94 era. First set
standard, or snoozer (means "still better than most bands") to warm
up, followed by a blazer second set. Gotta love PHiSH.

been a phan since 96, and on RMP just as long, and i never heard this
comment before. i thought he ment snoozer as in "i almost fell asleep
in the set", thats why i responded w/ the WTF.
still i dont think the first set was standard, maybe it was being
there, and the energy that night, but damn standard? my mind sure
wasnt feeling standard:))
