I remember that guy, he was just to my right. People started throwing
stuff at him to get him to sit down, he turned around with that look
of..."what?" Yea, it never fails, at least there weren't too many
idiots trying to be heard, and I didn't hear any shushers.
There was this one guy who barged his way down in front, stepping on
people's stuff...and he had his son with him. People were asking him to
move on and he was an ass...way to show your son how to be cool. "Here
son, just follow me, you don't have to spend any time or energy saving
some real estate, just wait until right before the show and go stand in
front of someone who's been baking in the sun for hours to save a
spot...they were just saving it for us, isn't fun to be a moron Jr?"
Then as soon as the set starts the guy yells "Thanks for last night!" to
the band (I actually heard him on the download recording), then the
"Thanks for staying sober" yell was even better...I have little
tolerance for idiots. Even his son looked embarrassed when people were
telling his dad to shut the fuck up..."and while you're at it, quit
standing on my shit".
But hey, main floor, up front, center, where else would I watch the
show? Minor annoyances in the grand scheme of things.
Peace,
Dave
I know exactly were that is on the recording.
I know, I heard it today. I even said to the guy next to me before the
set started that this idiot is probably one of those yellers who wants
to be on the recording...forever. My wife said karma would catch up
with him. It was cool that his son saw how well his dad's bullshit went
over with the crowd. And forever we can all hear the idiot who was
standing three feet to my left and trying not to make eye contact with
all the people near him.
Like I said, minor annoyance, but an annoyance nevertheless.
Later,
Dave
