Peter Anders 78rpm query

If there's a Peter Anders discography somewhere, I wonder if it
reveals details of a German 78rpm Tchaikovsky 'pot-pourri' disc from
the 1940s on which he appears. I've only heard an otherwise
unidentified tape but the selection consists of bits of the 5th
Symphony, 1st Piano Concerto, Nutcracker Suite, etc. On side 2, Anders
sings part of Lensky's aria from Eugene Onegin. It would be nice to
know the names of the conductor, orchestra and soprano on side 1 who
sings a few bars of Tatiana's Letter Scene. If any details of this 78
are available they'd be much appreciated.

Its listed in WERM but no details. You tube has him singing that aria Wagner Fan

Thanks. What catalogue number do you have listed? I have WERM too, so
can double-check.

On page 623 at the top left - it lists Anders and cat. no. T.E. 1761
but thats all

Thanks again. Luckily, Googling this Telefunken catalogue number
reveals this 78 to be the complete Lensky aria coupled with an aria
from 'Carmen' on the reverse (both sung in German). As I mentioned,
Anders little contribution to this Tchaikovsky "Selection" consists of
a few phrases as Lensky sandwiched between the 'Dance of the Sugar
Plum Fairy' and the finale of the 5th Symphony! There is another
Telefunken 78 listed on the opposite page in WERM under Tchaikovsky
"Miscellaneous" (T.E.1888) which says "Soloists and the Berlin Phil. -
Schroder"" and I strongly suspect it to be that. The ones shown above
it are purely orchestral and have no soloists. I'll do some more
Googling!

Research over! ... It's on You Tube and the soprano was Anita Gura ...
The conductor is indeed Kurt Schroder and the 78 was made in 1935 ...
