Neopolitan song disks by female artists

Are there any female recital disks of Neopolitan songs. All the ones I
know of are by male singers.

I'm interested in disks wholely or in great part of Neopolitan songs
with a female artist.

I am a great fan of Neapolitan songs and have not come across such a
recital disc by a female artist. One finds the odd title (O sole mio,
Vurria, Core 'ngrato, Torna a Surriento, Mandulinata di Napoli,
Marechiare, etc.) on some discs by women. One finds songs by Tosti, such
as Goodbye and Ideale, included on recordings of Neapolitan songs,
however. There is a recording of his songs by Nucia Focile and Lucio Gallo
(a baritone), accompanied by Erik Battaglia, on Ricordi/Fonit-Cetra RFCD
2009, that you might find amusing.

I think we're up against definitions again. There are very few discs of
male singers in Neapolitan songs if you take that term literally. If you
broaden it to the common usage: Italian songs and arie antiche, then you
will find many male singers and a few females with such recordings. One
I rather enjoy is a late LP of Tebaldi with Bonynge: "Tebaldi in
Concert". Mine is on London OS 26303.

I don't recall the catalog number, but Renata Scotto recorded an album
in the late 1970's, "Serenata" with some songs including *Tosti's* "La
Serenata" and others...the balance were concert songs.
It was a Columbia LP, which Sony may have re-released on CD by now.

There are more than one, the one though I come up with right now is
one recorded by KATIA RICCIARELLI released on the Italian Kikko label.
It includes Catari, o sole mio etc.
