in fact, it's come out under the name of Simon Jeffes, who composes
quite everything, and it's performed by the BBC Orchestra, and not by
the PCO. It's titled "Still Life (at the Penguin Cafe)", and consists of
orchestrations of pieces from previous albums: no new music, but a new
sound. It's on DECCA records (that seems to have signed Michael Nyman too).

Is this a 'new' album? I'm sure I've seen in record shops for several
months now, but have been put-off buying it because I thought
it'd be a re-hash of their earlier work. Do you have this? Is it
a live album? Is it worth buying?

it's new in so far that it's the first one since the last one ("When in
Rome ...")
(or did I miss something?), and I just wanted to advertize it a little

and I call it new because I only noticed its existence a short while ago ...
(maybe I would have seen it earlier if you had posted a news item about it ;^>
(maybe you have)

but as I said, the music is not new, but its orchestration and
interpretation is.
I also thought that it was just another kind of remix, but I bought it, and
I can't help liking it a lot (it's too lovely, somehow), just like the others.
