Hiroshi Miyakawa, this 2-CD set features the entire orchestral score from
the final 2-1/2-hour animated film in the Yamato series. Price is $49.95.

If it's only 2 CD's then it's not complete. Animage records released a
2 CD set years ago entitled "Final Yamato Best Collection" (catalog #
27ATC-124-5 priced at Y5400) that is missing several tracks (including
the music played while the Yamato tries to escape the neutrino beam).
This release also suffers from an outdated audio transfer (there is a
lot of background noise).

Columbia released a 3-CD set that is more complete (cat# COCC-12233-35)
but ironically is lacking a track that the 1st CD-set does have. This
release has the Yamato blowing up on the cover whereas the former album
just has a pic of the Yamato traversing a gorgeous space-scape. This
2nd release was released early last year I believe. This set does go
for a bit more (Y7500).
