Absolutely gorgeous. We received two at my workplace last week and I keep
looking at the darned thing, transfixed.
I'm glad Lucas & Spielberg have the clout to keep giving this guy work.

Drew Struzan is the best poster artist ever. I am always amazed at his work.
The most interesting thing about the Ep2 poster, is that he has placed
Anakin and Padme at the centre, and decided not to give the "clone war" much
importance (the title already does that). I like that.
The TPM poster had better (i.e. more realistic) likenesses of the actors,
but the composition in the Ep2 poster is superior. Padme's hair flowing in
the wind like that, it's so old-fashioned and beautiful.

I don't have any interest in Ep2 toilet paper :-)
I do have an interest in movie posters, especially the work of Drew Struzan.
It's just my kind of art.

I have an interest in movie posters as well (i've got dozens of the
things). The poster art for Ep2 is quite bland imho. I prefer a more
abstract style, like the Star Trek TMP original.

I like the ST: TMP poster too, but I prefer Struzan's work...

The STAR TREK -- The Motion Picture movie poster was produced by Bob Peak, one
of the greatest commercial artists ever. His posters for Star Trek, The Spy Who
Loved Me, Superman, Excalibur, Apocalypse Now, Islands in the Stream, and many,
many others define what movie poster art should be -- an almost abstract
representation of the soul of the film. Struzan is certainly talented, but I'd
like to see a bit more motion (Peak was able to achieve this with his trademark
color trails); there's a static, almost still-photo quality to Struzan's work
that seems to be the unfortunate residue of the equally unfortunate trend of
using an actor's photo as the basis for a movie poster.
I think that Tom Jung's movie poster art for Star Wars and the re-release
poster for The Empire Strikes Back are superior to Struzan's take on the Lucas
universe. And if you want colorful, just look at what the Hildebrandt brothers
did for the first Star Wars.
