7. This week's top 50:

It's now the second week that the Australian singles chart combines
both sales of physical CD singles and digital downloaded tracks, so
things have settled down after last week's adjustment to the new
   system.

The top 10 remains very stable, with 8 singles within the top 10
not budging this week.  The only movement that occurs is Pink and
Fergie swapping positions, thus giving Pink her third top 5 hit in
a row with "U + Ur Hand".  Thus Sandi Thom spends a 7th big week at
number one with her platinum selling "I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker"
and Justin Timberlake also spends a 7th week at number 2 with
   "SexyBack".

Just three new entries into this week's top 50 singles chart,
and all are outside of the top 20.

   23. COME TO ME - P. Diddy featuring Nicole Scherzinger
       CD singles chart:    #16
       Digital track chart: #29

Rapper P. Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, Diddy and Puff Daddy,
has been regularly featuring on the Australian charts since
1997 when he hit number one with his tribute to slain
rapper Notorious BIG on the track "I'll Be Missing You".
Since then, P. Diddy has enjoyed a string of collaborations
with other high profile artists including R. Kelly, Usher, Mase,
Nelly, Kelis, Lenny Kravitz, Mario Winans and Pharrell Williams.
       P. Diddy's new album, "Press Play", is out now and the first
track from that album is the single "Come To Me" which is this
week's highest new entry at number 23.  "Come To Me" features
guest vocals from Nicole Scherzinger - the lead singer of
Los Angeles 6-piece all-girl group, the Pussycat Dolls.
She is also a talented song-writer, having co-written the
new single from the Pussycat Dolls, "I Don't Need A Man"
as well as their recent number 2 hit, "Buttons".  She also
       co-wrote P. Diddy's "Come To Me".

   39. MEMORIES AND DUST - Josh Pyke
       CD singles chart:    #30
Digital track chart: (not in top 40)

Sydney musician, Josh Pyke, scores his first ever top 50
hit single this week.  "Memories And Dust" is lifted from
the album of the same name which should be out in January,
and it debuts at number 39 this week.

   43. PARTY GIRL - Girlband
       CD singles chart:    #25
Digital track chart: (not in top 40)

This week's third and final new entry comes from 4-piece
all girl group, aptly called Girlband.  Last year,
Sony BMG Australia began to search for a group of talented
performers to form a world class four-piece harmony group. The
resulting line-up consists of Patrice Tipoki (22, Toowoomba),
Jessica Smith (19, Sydney), Renee Bargh (20, Byron Bay)
and Renee Armstrong (20, Sydney).  Girlband's music has been
described by their management as a "hybrid of rock, dance and
pop fused to create a new edgy sound in pop music". During
their entire training, recording and performing schedules,
they have had a film crew following their every move,
resulting in a documentary of their path to stardom
being aired in segments on Channel 10 at 11:30am every
Sunday since August.  The group's first single, "Party Girl",
is a sassy pop song and debuts at number 43 this week.
Unfortunately digital sales of this single have let them down,
as "Party Girl" would have debuted at number 25 had we
been counting CD single sales only.  The girls have endured
a hectic promotional schedule recently, including in-store
appearances, supporting the Rogue Traders on their national
tour, and performing on TV shows including Mornings With
       Kerri-Anne and Sunrise.

9. This week's feature song lyrics

   ----------------------------------------
COME TO ME - P. Diddy Nicole Scherzinger
   ----------------------------------------
   It's Bad Boy b*tch
Do it do it do it do it
Do it do it do it do it
(It feels good to be back, I missed ya)
Relax your mind, let your conscience be free
And I roll with the sounds of BBE
Do it do it do it do it
Do it do it do it do it
(You know what time it is)
   (Report to the dance floor)
   It's bad boy b*tch
   (Talk to 'em)

See you out the corner of my eye
Leaning on the wall, looking fly
I want you to come be with me
You're the only one I wanna talk to
   But I don't wanna rush

   CHORUS:
I'm here when will you make your move?
I see you, I am me, I want cha, why don't cha
Come to me, I can be, what you need, uh baby
I'm standing, been waiting, I'm yearning, I'm burning
Come to know me, come and get to know me
Come to show me, that you wanna know me

You know who it is, I'm back in the building
Security strapped, still stacking a million
It's doubt with the stallion, somethin' Italian
Or maybe Puerto Rican, you can catch me in Paris
I'm in it to win it but willing to carry
The game, if you think I'm not look at the carats
I buck clean about in a Phantom
The people go screaming like an opera anthem
I did it before, do it again
I got to blow, gotta to spin
Lies before, cool as the wind
Got hits go back like juice and gin
Shine the best and diamond necklace
My extravagant taste, the style perplexes
They know I'm the ish, they wanna get next
That's why she had to fit cause she wanted to get next

   (CHORUS)

Anywhere I appear, they all stop and stare
Admire your body language speaking loud and clear like
(I want you to come be with me)
She be waiting anticipating for oh so long
Fantasising wild thoughts of me coming on like
(I'm here when will you make your move)
She digging my style, my swag, my suede, my swerve
My way with words, the Boys absurd for sure
You can't fall 'til my aura called
I make miracles like I walk on water
What you want mama order, it's on my tab
I'm so bad with the cash, I dropped the whole bag
   Where you at girl?

   (CHORUS)

I'm here in love, can't wait no more no
You were the one who stole my heart
Can't you see the wait is over
I need you to come closer
   Please believe is getting stormy
   You really got me hot

   (CHORUS)

Do it do it do it do it
Do it do it do it do it
Why don't cha come to me
I can be, what you need uh baby
I'm here, you're here, let's make it happen
Do it do it do it do it
Do it do it do it do it
Relax your mind, let your conscience be free
And I roll with the sounds of BBE (Bad Boy Entertainment)
   Do it, do it
   You know what this is
   It's Bad Boy b*tch

MEMORIES AND DUST - Josh Pyke
   -----------------------------
First I was a hatchling waiting for my little bones to form
Next I was a fledging leaping from the nest despite the fall
oh they fall, how we fall
But if I speak to you of days upon the ocean
I can speak to you of memories and dust
There won't be time for all of us,
I know there won't be time for all of us

I landed in the garden longing for the view behind the fence
   Oh my god
I prayed my bones weren't brittle
For the air we float on can feel dense
Oh the weight of it aches
But if I speak to you of days upon the ocean
I can speak to you of memories and dust
There won't be time for all us,
I know there won't be time for all of us

'cause I saw two fall before they were ready to
and I found no sense of gain to bear the cost
comfort comes to those with faith in mysterious ways
But for me faith don't make up for what we lost

But if I speak to you of days upon the ocean
I can speak to you of memories and dust
There won't be time for all us,
I know there won't be time for all of us

But in the morning I can smell you on my pillow
I need to know we won't get wrung out in the wash
I need to know there's time for us
I must believe there's time for some of us

'cause I saw two fall before they were ready to
and I found no sense of gain to bear the cost
comfort comes to those with faith in mysterious ways
But for me faith don't make up for what we lost

Quarter past five and it feels like another dimension
Everybody knows that were going out tonight
Somebody says no and thats when I remember to mention
were gonna party, party like its 1999

So pick me up lets go
   Go far away from home
It doesnt matter where cause baby I just wanna roam
   Were putting on a show
   Varietys en vogue
Lets do it lets do it lets do it

   CHORUS:
You can take the darkness out of the night
You can take the tick tock out of time
Go and take the angry out of the world
but you cant take the party
You can make a rocket blast into space
You can make the earth into a better place
Go and give me diamonds rubies and pearls
But you cant take the party out of the girl
You cant take the party out of the girl

Paris in the spring and New York in the middle of summer
I dont care where we go as long as everyone is there
And if it feels slow well dance until it sounds like thunder
And when the ground starts shaking
Thats when youll know you better beware

So pick me up lets go
   Go far away from home
It doesnt matter where cause baby I just wanna roam
   Were putting on a show
   Varietys en vogue
Lets do it lets do it lets do it

   (CHORUS)

   Take me away
   From my bad day
   I just wanna play

   (CHORUS)
