7. This week's top 50:

Sandi Thom's run at number one continues this week. "I Wish I Was
A Punk Rocker" spends an 8th big week at the top, now just one week
away from joining Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" as the longest running
number one of 2006. However, after 7 weeks of the top 2 not
changing, the deadlock is finally broken this week. Justin
Timberlake's "SexyBack" slips back to number 3, making way for
the Scissor Sisters at number 2 with "I Don't Feel Like Dancing".
That single has been topping the digital download chart for
several weeks now, but CD single sales have lagged behind.

Very little change within the rest of the top 10, with a new
entry at number 8 forcing the Pussycat Dolls with "Buttons"
out of the top 10 for the first time after a 12 week stint
which saw them enjoy a couple of weeks at number 2. Watch
out for the Pussycat Dolls' new single, "I Don't Need A Man",
which has already shot to number 13 on this week's digital
download chart.

Only 2 brand new entries into this week's top 50 singles chart.
However, a number of artists who would have normally had top 50
debuts this week miss out due to poor download sales. Had
the singles chart been 100% CD single sales only, then we'd
see an extra 3 new hits including:

- Aussie electro-house trio, Vandalism, with "Twisted"

- The debut single from fashion model, former London
house-mate of Jason Donovan, and ex-lover of media mogul
James Packer, 29 year old Erica Baxter with "I Spy"

- 26 year-old Daniel McGahan with his moving tribute performed
at Steve Irwin's memorial, the song "To Change This World"

Let's see how those singles perform next week.

8. LIGHT SURROUNDING YOU - Evermore
CD singles chart: #9
Digital track chart: #6

New Zealand three-piece band, Evermore, have enjoyed good
success with their platinum-selling "Dreams" album which
spawned the hit singles "It's Too Late" and "For One Day".
The group's latest album, "Real Life", has gone gold and
delivered to them their biggest chart hit ever with
"Running" which went top 5 back in June. Next single
off "Real Life" is the track "Light Surrounding You"
which gives the boys a second top 10 hit in a row,
debuting at number 8. The first released 5,000 copies of this
single come in a special collector's cardboard pack with tour
artwork. The music video for "Light Surrounding You" was
filmed at Lake George, near Canberra.

20. WELCOME TO THE BLACK PARADE - My Chemical Romance
CD singles chart: #13
Digital track chart: #36

This week's second and final new entry has already spent the
last two weeks at number one on the U.K. singles chart. Formed
in 2001, the five-piece American rock band My Chemical Romance
had a few single releases last year, including the tracks
"I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" and "Helena", lifted off their number
38 album from May 2005, "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge".
The new album by My Chemical Romance is titled "Black Parade"
which is out this weekend, and the first single to be lifted
off that album is the track "Welcome To The Black Parade",
which debuts at number 20 this week.

9. This week's feature song lyrics

--------------------------------
LIGHT SURROUNDING YOU - Evermore
--------------------------------
I see you by the water
Your toes dipped in the sand
I thought that it was over
I thought you'd understand
But the feeling is returning
Though time has made us change
And I understand if you don't
Wanna talk to me about it tonight
Tonight

'Cause I see the light surrounding you
So don't be afraid of something new

Time was overtaking me
And I guess I was confused
They were all inviting me
But I wish I had refused
'Cause I've been there before
And I've seen it all
And I believe in you

And if you never had my heart
I would've never called you back
At the start that night
So I want you to know

That I see the light surrounding you
So don't be afraid of something new
'Cause I see the light surrounding you
So don't be afraid of what you're turning into

Blue-eyed sun shines on me
In the morning
Can't help but feel a little cold
Thinking of you

'Cause I see the light surrounding you
So don't be afraid of something new
'Cause I see the light surrounding you
So don't be afraid of what you're turning into
No, don't be afraid
Don't be afraid
Cos I see the light
Cos I see the light
Cos I see the light surrounding you

-------------------------------------------------
WELCOME TO THE BLACK PARADE - My Chemical Romance
-------------------------------------------------
A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join the black parade."

When I was a young boy,
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band.
He said,
"Son when you grow up
will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?"

Sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me.
And other times I feel like I should go
Through it all, the rise and fall
the bodies in the streets.
When you're gone we want you all to know
We'll carry on,
We'll carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me
Your memory will carry on
Carry on
We'll carry on
And in my heart I cant contain it
The anthem wont explain it.

And we will send you reeling from decimated dreams
Your misery and hate will kill us all
So paint it black and take it back
Lets shout it loud and clear
Do you fight it to the end
We hear the call to
To carry on
We'll carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me
Your memory will carry on
We'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated
Your weary widow marches on

And on we carry through the fears
Ooh oh ohhhh
Disappointed faces of your peers Ooh oh ohhhh
Take a look at me cause
I could not care at all Do or die
You'll never make me
Cause the world, will never take my heart
You can try, you'll never break me
Want it all,
I'm gonna play this part
Wont explain or say i'm sorry
I'm not ashamed,
I'm gonna show my scar
You're the chair, for all the broken
Listen here, because it's only
I'm just a man,
I'm not a hero
Just a boy, who's meant to sing this song
Just a man,
I'm not a hero
I -- don't -- care
Carry on
We'll carry on
Though your dead and gone believe me
Your memory will carry on
We'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated
Your weary widow marches on
We'll carry on
We'll carry on
We'll carry on
We'll carry
We'll carry on
