7. This week's top 50:

For a second week in a row, the nation's biggest selling single is
Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack". No singles enter or leave the
top 10 from last week, so the only notable upward movement is
the impressive six spot climb from number 8 to 2 by Sandi
Thom's "I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker". Unfortunately for Sandi,
her album "Smile...It Confuses People" is still hovering close to
the bottom of the top 50 albums chart. A big mover, but outside
of the top 10 is Panic! At The Disco's "I Write Sins Not
Tragedies", bulleting from number 21 to 12. This 4-piece group
from Las Vegas will be touring Australia in October and their
album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" has been certified as a
gold seller.

Things slow down on the new music scene this week for the
first time in a while. Just 4 new entries into this week's
singles chart, and all within the bottom half of the chart.

29. ANIMALS - Nickelback
This week's highest new entry comes from Canadian rock group,
Nickelback. Their current album, "All The Right Reasons" has
spent almost a year on the albums chart and is a certified
triple-platinum seller. The album spawned the top 3 hits
"Photograph" and "Far Away", as well as their last single,
the top 20 hit "Savin' Me". Fourth single from Nickelback's
current album is "Animals", entering the chart at number 29.

37. ALL THIS LOVE - The Similou
Swedish dance duo, The Similou, release their debut single,
"All This Love". Sounding like a 1980s retro pop hit,
the single debuts at number 37 this week. The CD single
features 4 mixes of the song, while their album "So Hot Right
Now" is now on sale.

39. NOTHING LASTS FOREVER - The Living End
Melbourne rock group, The Living End, enjoy continued success
with their chart-topping gold-selling "State Of Emergency"
album. It features their top 10 hits "What's On Your Radio"
and "Wake Up", as well as their last single, the number 23
hit "Long Live The Weekend". Fourth single off the album
is "Nothing Lasts Forever" which debuts at number 39.
The Living End are playing over 30 shows across Australia
between August and October.

49. TI AMO - Laura Gissara
This week's final new entry comes from 22 year-old Laura
Gissara. Laura was a contestant in the 2005 Australian Idols
series and made it into the final 12 before being knocked out
of the competition. Back in April, Laura announced she'd
signed to a record label and her first release would be a
cover of the 1980s love song, "Ti Amo", but rocked up to
make it sound more contemporary. Unfortunately "Ti Amo" has
so far ended up as one of the smallest commercial hit singles
by an Idol contestant, struggling to a peak of number 49 this
week.

9. This week's feature song lyrics

--------------------
ANIMALS - Nickelback
--------------------
I, I'm driving black on black
Just got my license back
I got this feeling in my veins this train is coming off the track
I'll ask polite if the devil needs a ride
Because the angel on my right ain't hanging out with me tonight
I'm driving past your house while you were sneaking out
I got the car door opened up so you can jump in on the run
Your mom don't know that you were missing
She'd be pissed if she could see
the parts of you that I've been kissing
Screamin'

CHORUS:
No, we're never gonna quit
Ain't nothing wrong with it
Just acting like we're animals
No, no matter where we go
'Cause everybody knows
We're just a couple of animals

So come on baby, get in
Get in, just get in
Check out the trouble we're in

You're beside me on the seat
Got your hand between my knees
And you control how fast we go by
just how hard you wanna squeeze
It's hard to steer when you're breathing in my ear
But I got both hands on the wheel
while you got both hands on my gears
By now, no doubt that we were heading south
I guess nobody ever taught her not to speak with a full mouth
'Cause this was it, like flicking on a switch
It felt so good I almost drove into the ditch
I'm screamin'

(CHORUS)

So come on baby, get in
Get in, just get in
Look at the trouble we're in

We were parked out by the tracks
We're sitting in the back
And we just started getting busy
When she whispered "what was that?"
The wind, I think 'cause no one else knows where we are
And that was when she started screamin'
"That's my dad outside the car!"
Oh please, the keys, they're not in the ignition
Must have wound up on the floor while
we were switching our positions
I guess they knew that she was missing
As I tried to tell her dad it was her mouth that I was kissing
Screamin'

(CHORUS)

So come on baby, get in
We're just a couple of animals
Get in, just get in
Ain't nothing wrong with it
Check out the trouble we're in
Get in, just get in

--------------------------------------
NOTHING LASTS FOREVER - The Living End
--------------------------------------
iting down at the corner under the streetlight
he's only following orders 'til midnight
and then he'll sneak back home to his wife
and his everyday life
he says he's been at the pub with the boys all night
she acts as if she don't know says its alright
but he knows she don't believe him

on and on, on and on

cause nothing lasts forever
and nothing lasts forever
everything dies eventually
cover your eyes if you don't want to see

this isn't how she thort that her life should be
when they first met back in '63
and a future together was all she could see
he said if you stick with me
then you know we'll be alright
a family for the rest of our lives
and ill always be by your side
and that's when she cried

on and on, on and on

cause nothing lasts forever
and nothing lasts forever
everything dies eventually
cover your eyes if you don't want to see

so he takes off his tie and he tells another lie
she only believed it for a minute
and she dosen't ask why
she doesn't want to pry
she only believes it for a minute
he's walking out the door and into a new life
he's already got plans with his new wife
and a house in a new neighborhood
he says he's been at the pub with the boys all night
she acts as if she don't know
says its alright
but he knows she don't believe him
but she's sick of arguing

on and on, on and on

cause nothing lasts forever
and nothing lasts forever
everything dies eventually
cover your eyes if you don't want to see

she's been waking around
with her heart dragging on the ground
she don't need to frown
