jazz player mcgaa?

i heard a good trumpet player on the radio. he name was something like
mcgaa (not mcghee, i know about him).
i need the right spelling to track down some of his reordings. any
guesses?

If this guy was from the early '50's, he name is probably Howard McGhee.

thanks for the replies. it turns out that the guy is Rod McGaha. a
young fellow with kind of a sweets edison approach in improv.
