I really like the metaphor presented in this one, although I'm not sure
if what I got from it is what you intended: most personal growth happens
during times of crisis. I think this theme could be developed/honed a
bit more, but then maybe this interpretation comes as a surprise to you.
Musically, it's pretty ordinary, which is ok for country music, I guess.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but, for me, the computer is the new
paper. Where I would have used staff paper in the past, I use a notation
program now. Where I would have used lined paper for lyrics in the past, I
use Notepad. Where I would have used tape in the past (okay, granted,
that's not paper), I use my DAW (SONAR these days). Etc.

Ah, but there's a difference between "large scale input" and composing.
Ugh. Cakewalk (any of their versions, up to the latest SONAR version) is a
horrible way of entering notes via notation. The Staff View is there, but
there's not much to say beyond that. It is okay for seeing what you've
played in notation, and for making minor tweaks, cut certainly not for any
