The new issue of Musea, "Chess Sets" is now up on the Musea website
at musea.us. For Christmas each year, I've tried to write a short
story
that fits the season. This year it's the story of Barty, who as a
child
loved to draw. The story starts out:
Once while 8 year old Barty was working on a drawing of a horse, an
uncle watching him, asked if he'd like a pony of his own? Barty said,
"If I get a horse, I want one with wings," and went back to drawing.

The fund now has over $1300 that ANYONE can use to help buy ANYTHING
that would be considered a classic. That includes a classic book,
recording, art book, or classic TV, even a classic pulp fiction
magazine.
Just ask at the desk for the Musea reading fund. You'll get half off
of the regular price anyway. Then they'll add another half off for the
Musea Reading fund. It's my way of supporting good reading, and great
arts of all kinds!
