I'm pretty interested to this vintage jazz set by yamaha,

http://shop.acusticanapoli.com/home.php?incpage=_centrale_dettaglio.php&cat=%25&Id_Articoli=4186

they tell it is an 8000 serie, and as far as I can remember, those lug in
the 80s where mounted on the old tour custom serie.
does someone here know something more about this old medium budget line by
yamaha, namely which wood is made of, the accuracy in construction, the
quality of bearing edges, where it is made (japan, china), quality of
finshing etc etc.
they are selling it for 400 euros, claiming it is in very good shape.
You must know that with the same money here in europe you can by just a new
low-end five piece drum set, with hw, in the class of tama imperialstar,
pearl forum, gretsch catalina etc etc
TIA
