Does anyone make software that would show your pitch graphically as you are
singing?
One basic application for this would be as a tool for teaching people to
sing. There could be a practice scale - for example - and when the student
sings back the sale each note she sings would show as a particular pitch,
and the target pitch would appear next to that. This allows the student to
make real-time corrections to the voice to adjust to the correct pitch.
I'm not trying to patch up a bad pitch in software. I'm trying to teach
someone to generate the correct pitch in the first place.

Hello, and although I've used EarMaster 5 (version 6 is out,
www.earmaster.com) for about everything else except what you want, it
may offer that capability. Sincerely,
