I've got a fairly recent video of Benetar (2002). Neil Geraldo was using the
XT exclusively through the board as far as I could see and he was smokin'!

I use PODxt and guys like the sound.I go direct to PA and control through
monitors.

I could not get a warm tone (to my ears) outta the XT.
I edited and tweaked etc... Nice effects though

Harry - I assumed you tried the fender tone with your sansamp in front?

I did actually, it thinned out the tone considerably.
Kinna defeats the purpose... my sans amp sounds sweet as is.
I set the overdrive very low, and push it with a compressor when I want a
slightly higher gain tone

It's the original 8 dip switch model.
I must say that I was less than impressed with all of their other models
(except the rack).
