Song: Two Boys From Creagerstown
Artist: Neal Coty
Album: Chance and Circumstance

In between writing country-pop tunes for others and his own big-hat
country album 'Legacy', Neal Coty put out this excellent country-rock
album. Alt.country fans will enjoy it; it confused the heck out of
Nashville and so you can get it for the price of shipping and handling
on Amazon. A bargain - there are at least 5 tracks that will make it
into your iTunes library permanently.

{intro}
[G] [C9] [G] [C9]

{verse}
[G]Albert you were crazy,
But I [C9]liked you anyway
Re[Am]member back in [C]high school,
We were [G]drunk 'most every day

[G]Drink down by the reservoir,
[C9]Drive through town and drank some more
'Til [Am]we took out Miss [C]Young's front porch,
In [G]my old Chevrolet

{verse}
You thought you were a rich boy
In that big house on the hill
Where we drank your daddy's whiskey
And stole your mama's pills

We were young and stupid
In that Summer of eighty-four
Come Fall I left with half my mind
For college up in [D]Baltimore

{chorus}
[C]Albert [D]we don't have to [C]talk about it [G]now
Tonight we're [Am]just two [C]boys from Creagers[G]town [D]
[C]Come this time to[D]morrow you will [C]lay your burdens [G]down
Tonight we're [Am]just two [C]boys from Creager[G]stown

{intro}

{verse}
I remember that December the Charlotte county paper read
State's attorney has a witness and overwhelming evidence
And I just stood there staring, you know I could not put it down
Right there on the front page was a boy from my home town

{chorus}

{break}
[F]I guess some things are not for [C]us to under[G]stand
[F]Wish you could [C]break those chains so [G]I could shake your
[D]hand

{chorus}

{intro} x14

end on [G]
