interesting comment on Holdsworth and Coltrane. Though it sure does reads that way,i'm not sure he meant to equate their contributions... but, yeah, when i first heard Holdsworth that was my exact thought... that this was "the Coltrane of the guitar". Interestingly enough, when you think of what are often referred to as "Coltrane guitarists", guys like Sonny Greenwich and Tisziji Munoz for example, well they sound nothing like Holdsworth. Anyway, i really like Muller' playing, and he's one of a couple of cool guitarists i became aware of through checking in on this forum every now and again... and FWIW, that's the kind of thing that keeps me coming back here despite some pretty ugly personal attacks and a lot of politics and spam
