The Bass is too strong in the mix, guitar and voice sound great.
Nice work.

Great band, enjoyed your playing. Can you tell us a bit about the
Suzuki guitar method, is it for classical?
Yes, Suzuki is a classical method, but the key is it's a method for
working with children from a very young age. Here are a couple web
sites to give an idea of what it's about:
www.suzukiassociation.org
www.suzukiece.com
Thanks for asking about Suzuki. Do you have a child you're considering
music for?
Roger
Great, thank you for the input.
I'm a guitar teacher who teaches in primary school quite a lot, so it
sounds interesting.
Thanks for the links!
Nice job, Roger - I'll have to make it out to check out the band
sometime.

That you, Mr. R?
I love the clip I'm listening to (Devil May Care). And I like in-your-face
bass, so I don't think the bass is too loud: but I may be in a minority on
that. Instead of reducing the bass, maybe up the treble overall just a
touch? Maybe. (Ah, the bass is a bit strong on Pra Machucar, it's OK on the
other two, to my ears.)
But, like a lot of sites, your site is extremely coy about where you live.
I'd recommend putting your neighborhood in big letters at the top of the
first page. E.g.:
Anita's Jazz Hat
A Jazz Vocal Trio Playing to the Arlington VA Area
(Assuming that's where you are, I couldn't tell.)

Duh, why didn't we do that yet? Thanks David!
I'm with the too heavy bass contingent. Great sound on the guitar though and
nice performance by all.

I agree the mix needs a little work. Nice stuff in general though.

Thanks to everyone for commenting! Your words are very kind and
encouraging, and I totally agree on the bass level thing. I think we
were listening at too low of a volume level when we did that mix.
Usually bass doesn't come through well until you turn up a bit (that
problem is what the "loudness" function on stereo amps was originally
created to counteract).
Many thanks,
Roger
