Audacious! I don't think I've ever seen that done on rmmgj.

never seen what done on rmmgj?
I ripped my old worn lp a few years back. The only time I ever \]
came across this other than my lp was part of the tune Key Largo as
background for a car commercial.

Many thanks!!!! BK is Mr. The in guitar comping. Students would be
wise to study this collection, as well as the Julie London-BK numbers.
Thank you Tom. .....joe

Given a link to a direct-download recording.
It's a classic, and because of the voice, I far prefer it to his work
with London.
Someone else ripped and uploaded. I simply link.

I'm about equal on both. I do, however, recall fondly Julie's music
as being very soothing to me when I would get my delidate feelings
hurt when I was young. And none of her other recordings, good as they
were, would match those she did with BK.
I discussed this with a lady online some years back, who was familiar
with him, as her dad was a professional musician, and she made the
statment, "BK can make anybody sound good...."
So whethere it was Sarah, Julie, or anyone else, it was BK that made
them sound so good. (Though I will say that Sarah could match BK's
tone with an eerie accuarcy.)
I assumed that. Not that it matters to me. I had just never seen a
direct-download link on usenet here. Normally you click on a link
regarding an artist and find yourself reviewing a video, or maybe an
mp3 somewhere.
I've started "skipping the middleman" when I provide large files to
others. This, rather than sending them to a site (mine or another)
where they can figure out on their own how to download it, decompress,
and all the rest.
Also, I would have bought a legit copy of this one decades ago if I
knew where to find one. I paid Japanese import prices for the Annie
Ross record I linked in the other thread, and it was worth every
penny.

I did find the Sarah/Barney CD a number of years ago, actually informed
of its existence right here. It was one of those momentary rebirths
these sides have gotten over the past 15-20 years.
May they continue.

direct links have been posted here before. but if someone else uploaded the
file the decent thing to to is to link to his blog or website and *not*
provide a direct link here.
Point taken, but his blog is going offline any minute now.
Whose was it?

How about that! Between this morning (when I last checked it) and
now--it's gone "private"! I assume you have his newest hideout...
Blogspots shenanigans are buckling fast. Over the past 4 or 5 weeks a
number of [blogs/points of distribution] have dissappeared.

the "bloggers" should stick to out-of-print stuff imo.

I concur. And some of them do a hell of a good job at providing oop stuff.
