Hi
Getting ready to produce a new cd. Wondering if anyone has experienced
any differences in these two methods of cd manufacture. Also, any
suggestions for companies that you've used in the past would be
appreciated.
Happy Thanksgiving

replication involves creating a glass master and stamping cd's off of
that. duplication is the laser burning of cdrs, exactly as you would
do in your home computer. it's more rare these days, but certain cd
players (usually cheaper ones) have a hard time reading cdrs and some
won't play them at all. so that's not something you would want for a
commercial product. duplication is very inexpensive in short
quantities, when you get up over 500 or so, the economies of scale
suggest you should just go with replication anyway, and in fact i
would suggest replication all the time anyway.
