vid: Van Iterson solos 2

Just published the second instalment of the "Van Iterson" solos. These
vids were shot a week ago at the Crow and I glued them together
yesterday. It's only the solos Martijn played on 3 standards:

- Bop tune based on the changes of Body and Soul
- You don't know what love is (close up of neck)
- I love You.

You're welcome. I would have loved to up upload the whole concert (great 2
hornsmen as leaders) but they did not allow that because they thought the
room was sounding too "dry". The playing was splendid on all fronts though.
How critical can you get :)

With a bit of lateral thinking they might have realized that that is only
going to encourage people to buy the CDs/downloads to get a better sound...
Still, it's nice that they allow you to post anything!

Dick, can I send you my entire CD collection and have you fish out
just the guitar solos? :-)

Seriously, MVI is one of my favorites, and his solos here are so full
of clarity and intent. First time I hear some Barney Kessel influences
in his chordal playing on "What Love Is", and his 3 against four
phrasing is always perfect.

Great filming too!
