Well, I'm off to have my other knee replaced tomorrow at 5 AM. When I
get back, if I say even stupider stuff than the usual stupid stuff I
say, it's the morphine, OK?? Not me, it's the morphine talking.

OUCH! Currently attempting to beam brain waves that will bring you good
luck and health, or at least that the surgery and recovery won't be too
terrible.

My meager experience with morphine is that it does a better job of making me
not care about pain than it does of stopping pain.

Getting old is overrated, but I suppose it beats the alternative.
