Does that guitar have a metal fretboard? That
solves *that* problem with fretless guitars...

I've not read all about it, but I did read a reference to at least some
of his guitars having polished glass fingerboards.

Me too. I spot-listened and didn't here anything noteworthy in this regard.

I try not to fret too much when I play guitar (or mandolin) but other
people fret a lot when they hear me.
