Thank to Alan Buller! Love this tune, which we copped from Freakwater
via a track on an alternative country sampler that came my way some
years ago. I think Shaidri shines.

Freakwater's wonderful version is a bit twisted here and there. Shaidri
straightened it out into a more typical bluegrass form and I really dig
it.

As you say, Shaidri shines, the ugly bloke in the bandanna did OK too. I had
a lot of fun playing along with it, I wish there was some interest in
traditional folk/blues locally.

What's the guitar?

Glad to see that meeting me didn't corrupt her or turn her away from
going places where she'd meet people like me. BTW, I see she hasn't
packed up the Gibson and sent it to The Fund. Did she lose the
address?

Also, has she thought about doing a demo tape for the NTIF?

Perhaps your so-called memory ain't what it used to be, or you'd know
better than to pursue this to the point she reaches for the Smith &
Wesson.

I kinda doubt it, busy as she's been. She did just play her first-ever
solo set opening for Rob Lytle at Webb House Concerts last Friday.

We're adding several more of my songs to our repertoire, and that's
probably going to take up a bunch of her sparse spare time.

Besides, Earl Poole Ball asked her to join him in a trio, and if she has
her priorities straight she'll go for that.

Well, if she does get to play at the festival, she'd enjoy it but if
not, then it's the festival's and its audience's loss.

PS I'll give ye a free beer, if ye send me the Gibson.

One, I'd not survive the theft, and two, calm down, Tom, 'cause that
one's not even her good guitar.
