I am soliciting experiences and/or opinions on the GHS Miniflex.  Just
how well does this work?

Best wishes,

Dr. Jim Lowther

Jim.

I'd never heard of them but googled and found the site. There are a lot
of different models.

This is the "artist endorsement" page.

It's not a GHS product.  I've not tried it myself, but I was mighty
impressed with it as used my Vicki Genfan at the Healdsburg Festival
this year.  In a show that included Laurence Juber, Tony McManus, and
others, I thought that her sound was far and away the best.  Now, she
has something else in there, probably a UST, but I couldn't get anyone
to admit what it was.  She had another advantage in that she travels
with her own highly capable sound person (who is also her domestic
partner).  So, there are so unknowns, but in that context, surrounded by
other players with GREAT amplified sound, hers stood out.
