Ray Wylie Hubbard was in town this evening. He was playing at
this sort of bar/theater place in Portland, so we decided to get
dinner there before the show. When we got there, he was sitting
at a table finishing up his dinner just like regular folk. I got
to shake his hand and say hi.

Still stoked about it.

Ray is real regular folk. How'd you like the show?

He is one hell of an entertainer. Last night he had his son
playing leads for him. That kid is just fine the way he is, and
could grow up to be a real monster.

I'd see 'em again.

Always enjoyed Ray Wylie.... even though he came into the Dallas
Guitar Show one year and bought up every Martin 00 and 000 he could
get his hands on.... I was looking at 000s that year. The man has a
real talent for writing a good song.
