I have been looking all over for the tablature for "Hail Mary Gentle Woman"
does anyone have the tab for it? In DAD tuning. They play it on You Tube
but there is no tab.

My guess is that it is supossed to played (sung) acapella. I have a guitar
version that states as such so it explains why there is no guitar chords

That would be a good reason why I have been unable to find it. On you tube
I saw a guitarist playing it, it is the most beautiful song and I want very
much to learn to play it on the dulcimer. I'm thinking of asking at church
if I can bring a song book home with me and copy it then bring it back. I
don't know how to read notes but my husband does there has to be a way to
get it on the dulcimer. I was hoping by chance someone in here might have
played it by ear and could tab it out. In church they sing it with a piano
playing and sometimes a flute. So I never gave a thought to it being sung
only acapella. I still have hopes and maybe I can mess around and get it on
my own.

I'm glad that you were able to get the song working for your guitar.

Generally, if you can find the chords or notes in any form, you can
find some way to play it on a dulcimer. There are printable chord
charts for the various dulcimer tunings, so, there is usually a way to
transcribe from guitar, piano or other chord.

Perhaps an email to the Youtube video poster about the guitarist's
performance could get you the chords he used?

good luck
