Isn't there some way to get rid of jackasses like 'Noah' and 'salvatore 45'?
The future of newsgroups is tenuous enough without the contributions of
these clowns.

These never appear on my PC through my news servers, Bigpond and aioe,
so I assume they are being filtered before they get to me. However, I do
see them in Google Groups. You can also filter them on most news readers
( I use Thunderbird and Windows Live Mail) by right clicking on the
"From" name. - I have done this to a couple of trolls who clutter up
some of the other guitar-related groups.

Thanks Tony. I'm not really worried about it for myself; I can pretty
much ignore anything, but the stuff Noah is posting would be offensive for
youngsters looking for tips on guitars etc. I suspect any female group
members could be offended as well. Not the kind of stuff I'd want a
daughter to have to confront.

Sad, but Usenet has become a refuge for loonies. Some of us still like
the format and freedom of speech though. I've tried a few fora, but just
don't get on with them, difficult to have a dialog and so bloody polite
that they end up looking like a bunch of whackers. I'm sure younger
folks will find them OK though, a bit like never having eaten a real
farmyard chicken.

It's that Guy again...

Well, it's Market morning
and I'm up 1st thing for chicken..

Off to town, I'm a early bird,
...I do my own picking..

I hear say they're non comformers
around here, they're pretty tricky..
..and I'm from the city..

Tell me, mister, how long's that one
there's been scratching?

Does she lay, does she?
Is she lode, or just brooding?

I know them china eggs,
no matter poached or fried
won't sustain me..
..or my family..

I want that big fat brown one,
I don't want that one's..too skinny
I'm not that silly...

..don't try n short change me...

Do you know Col Sanders,
well..nor do I..
Don't wanna no Cock a Loop
I'm gonna rule the roost
I'm not fresh hatched this morning
I know my brand, don't wanna no
battery hens, cause I'm a free-range man
ain't gonna barter/haggle, cause I'll
cut you down,
now tell me,
do they lay?
I don't care
white or brown
You should not count yer chickens
before they hatch
Ya want a pretty belly
for wine or jelly

Don't try n short change me
I've been stung before...

chick chick chick
chick chick chick
...chicken...

chick chick chick
chick chick chick
...chicken...

chick chick chick
