TALK TALK DISCOGRAPHY - Version 1.4 (13 November 1994)

Talk Talk formed in England in 1981, securing a songwriting contract with
Island Music and a recording contract with EMI. Their original line-up was:

Mark Hollis vocals
Paul Webb bass
Lee Harris drums
Simon Brenner keyboards

After their first album, _The Party's Over_, Simon Brenner left the band, and
after their fourth album, _Spirit Of Eden_, Paul Webb left. Producer Tim
Friese-Greene gained such an excellent rapport with Mark Hollis that he became
a de-facto member of Talk Talk, co-writing many songs with Mark Hollis.

This discography lists all of their known releases, and attempts to be both
accurate and comprehensive. If anyone can supply any information that is
missing (such as track times, release dates, or catalog numbers), information
on releases not listed here, or wishes to correct an error, please contact the
author (Brendan Jones) at bre...@mpce.mq.edu.au.

Only Talk Talk releases are listed. Compilations and collaborations with
other artists are not included.

Releases are listed in chronological order, and each release is headed with
the following information:

Release Date Release Type Title Total Running Time

Release Date: Date of release in the UK, else the release date in the country
of first release.

Release Type: Single, Album, EP, Compilation, Promo, Video, Bootleg.

Title: Title of release.

Total Running Time: For singles, albums or EPs, the total running time is
that time displayed by a CD player for the CD version of the release.
If a CD version does not exist, it is the summation of individual
track times. Track times are obtained from CD player readout or
measurement rather than printed times (which are often inaccurate).

Below the track listing is information known about the release. References
to specific track numbers are denoted [n]. References to other catalogue
items are by the UK catalogue number (if it exists) else the catalogue number
in the country of first release.

Finally, the Label and Record Company for the release is given, along with
the catalog number for each format of the release in a particular country.
