I like the electro-EBM guys 'n' gals, especially lately the gals
(Shikhee, Emileigh Rohn, Erica Dunham, Stacia Tucker), better than
straight electronic, but still love the TD classics:
Rubycon Part I/ Zeit Part IV/ Rubycon Part II is a great great hour-
long sequence, the Zeit part "Zeit" fitting beautifully with the
Caesar-Rubicon interpretation of Rubycon (Rubycon Part I is arrival at
the river, Zeit Part IV "Zeit" is the sleepless calculating overnight
passage, and Rubycon Part II is the crossing at dawn, into the Civil
War and the end of the Roman Republic).

I must admit that I love the old analogue synth sounds of classic electronic
albums. Electronica just doesn't cut it for me. Perhaps I'm getting old but
listening to that sort of music makes me want to change the station.
I also love the first 3 Kraftwerk albums because of their experimental and
evocative sound. The guys were pioneers of electronic music. They often had
to find work-arounds for the primitive equipment they had. YouTube has some
great video of their 1971 performances. Their later work was unique but it
lacked that original spark of inspiration, in my view anyway.
