aziz naaza's qawwalis

Does anybody know of any reliable sites that stock Aziz Naaza's qawwalis ? I
am particularly interested in "Dhalta suraj dheere dheere dhalta hai dhal
jaayega...." among others. This one is particularly nostalgic.

It is "Chadta suraj....", iirc.

It is very hard to find the tapes of old favorites like Aziz Nazaan
and Shankar-Shambhu. In 1991, I got a videotape of a live performance
by Aziz Nazaan in one of the video stores in the Bay Area. That had
all the famous songs by Nazaan, including "Chadta Suraj" and "Jhoom
Barabar Jhoom Sharabi". I haven't been able to find it since.

With Shankar-Shambhu, I haven't had any luck, apart from finding their
beautiful rendition of "Aaj rang hai" in the HMV release, "The
multi-faceted genius of Amir Khusrau".

You are right....We used to spoof the qawwali with altered lyrics and hence
the nostalgia thing. This one and jhoom barabar jhoom sharaabi were big time
favs. Its a pity I never bought the tape then...Now, I cant seem to find
them at all.

(5) Aaja masti bhara hai samaa
(6) Thandi aahein bharta hoon
(7) Masti mein aa piye ja
(8) Aa gayi bahaar jara jaam utha saqiya
(9) Pila pila chayee ghata
(10) Gaal hai tere subah banaras julph awadh ki shyam re

The CD has been made from a cassette which I have, and the
transformation is not all that bad. The main problem, I just cannot
upload all these songs. May I ask where r u located ?
