Much obliged if you could point me to it, if there is...
Thankee muchly.
Hrishi.
I have heard rumors of copies with a private collector in UK and with
M and M video of Karachi (now presumably in Dubai), but never could
get any definite info.
Another possibility is Film Archives Pune
http://nfaipune.nic.in/main_page.htm
Their search engine resulted in Not Found, but I don't trust the
engine. Somebody should visit and investigate.
Does Film Archive, Pune, have old issues of film magazines, like
Filmfare, Shama, Stardust, Dharmyug, and Illustrated Weekly of India?
Any of these magazines? If they do, a visit to Pune is on my next
trip to India.

NFAI did not have Jwar Bhata when I checked with them (4-5 years
ago); as for rumours of copies in UK and Pakistan, it is worth
following via Dr Kapur.

"Jwaar BhaaTa" was definitely available on VHS.
But I never could find "Afsar".
Afzal
Quite a lot of them. Har Mandir spent weeks there browsing them for
his compilation.

WHAT? When and where did you see it? It is a much sought-after
item but I had not known anybody who would confirm
its availability. The rumours about its presence seemed
reliable and worth following up, but now we have something
much more substantial.

Seems like these two titles are available at the links below. I have
ordered VCD-s from this online store in the past. I had the orders
delivered to an address in India.

Hrishi.
Sorry to have to mention it, but I had a very bad experience with
linuxbazar.com guys recently. They have lots of rare movies listed. I
ordered about 20. Paid with credit card via Paypal. They never sent
any movies or any messages at all to me. After about two weeks, I
emailed many times, no reply. I called, nobody picks up or busy. So,
when I was very close to my dispute date (about 60 days after
ordering), I put the money in dispute. They finally replied and said
they will soon send the movies. They claimed they sent me many emails.
I did not want to take a chance and got the money refunded.
I guess if you are in Delhi, it is OK. At least you can visit their
store and fight :) BTW their website says you must order via Internet;
they do not sell from the store.
