Queiry - Khurshid Anwar's Rag-Ragni

Going through the old film magazines on Prof's web
gives a wealth of information on many unreleased and
abondoned movies for reasons not well known .

There were some unreleased movies for which the songs
were recorded and were released . A couple of them like
Rasheed Dulhan and Jeevan ka Saaz had excellent musical
score although the movies were never screened . The lovely
songs from these movies are available on Prof's web .

There is a mention in SOUND magazine dated Feb 1949
about a movie under production which says - Spectacular
musical with several hit tunes and a galaxy of favourite stars .
MD - Khurshid Anwar , Story & Dialogues - DN Madhok and
Director - M Sadiq .

I wish to know if any songs were recorded for this movie ?
If so were they released / the songs were used in any other
movie of MD - Khurshid Anwar . I think the best person to answer
this queiry is Mr Irfan Anwar .

In the same issue of the magazine for movie Chakori
MD - Hansraj Behal's name is given as Hansarj Dahen .
Which one is his correct name ?

There were many films which didn't see the lights of the sets.
Names of these film just appeared on pages of these magazines
as introductory adds. Only two songs were recorded for a film
Mehfil which were later on included in film Khamosh Sipahi.
You must have noticed a two-page add of film Bahana.
The name of this film was changed to Nishana. The add has
many photographs taken on the occasion of mahurat performed
by V.Shantaram.
