Is it Uma Devi?
Jay probably knows it.

Sounds Khan Mastana to me.
Waah ! Waah ! Tera bhi jawab nahin.
Such IGNORANCE exists on this forum !
Jay
6/12
O, the 'most learned' and the 'most knowledgeable' :-J, reduce the
level of ignorance on this forum, by telling us the who the male
singer is, if you really know the answer yourself and remember the
proof of the pudding is in eating.
> Jay
> 6/12
I bet you don't know youreself.
If you reply without the answer will prove that you don't know.
I am one hundred percent sure that you will just ramble with attacks and
self-praise.
AJ
You and /or others may spew any amount of venom...first refer your
question to Profjee.
Other backstage Chanakyas, who are watching the happenings...refer to
them.
Who the hell is Jay...he knows nothing....ask Deepak...& and Waheed.
Ask your friend Suman Chaurasia.
Let them commit first. Take your time...why are u in a hurry !
Jay

True - first you EAT or DRINK or THROW IT OUT. It makes no difference
to me.

Jay
Have you always been this ignorant (and not admitting it) or are you
just making special efforts on this forum?
Mind you admitting one's ignorance is no crime.
Regards
Sukesh
For a moment, presume myself in the place of HH at Kanpur. Woudn't all
of you riddle me with all sorts of questions?
Why is HH-n-Profjee not asked this question whose answers you are
seeking so hurriedly.
Thats the point of issue !
Even if I were to provide the 100% correct answer..what then next?
In this world, there are so many things/items unexplored and
undiscovered. BCSP does extensive research at its own cost...WHY?
Do you know?
You will not-n-never know because you and others like you want
immediate answers from every possible source, by hook or crook. Jay

One wonders whether the Right To Information Act, 2005 can be applied
to find out what else Jay does not know. ;-)
My oh my! It doth 'indeed' mock the meet it feeds on!
Reading Jay's posts in various threads and this one in particular, it
is crystal clear that his bitterness, anger and envy is targeted at
Sardar Surjit Singh and Sardar Har Mandir Singh 'Humraaz', who have
earned their respect and admiration from countless people around the
world, by their deeds. He just cannot stomach this fact and is bent
upon losing whatever respect and goodwill he has, by writing what
Satish has described as balderdash.
In one of the posts, Jay's criticism of Har Mandir that he has left
his work unfinished, shows how little Jay knows.
1) Roget's Thesaurus, which was started in 1805 and first published in
1852, is still being being updated and edited.
2) Encyclopædia Britannica, first published between 1768 and 1771, is
also being continuously updated and imporoved upon as frontiers of
knowledge and information expand.
.
3) So is the case of numerous catalogues around the world and HFGK
also falls in the same category. Har Mandir has laid the foundation
for the Geet Kosh and it is left to the generations that follow to
carry on.
Jay should remember that Rome was not built in a day.

Oh No ! Never will Jay...just never ; Narsinghjee.
I have been repeatedly telling on the forum that when the topic in
question is Indian Cine Music, nothing is more superior than ACTUAL
LISTENING TO IT as compared to READING IT IN BOOKS. Do you get my
point?
Secondy, I will never waste money in publication of any writings of
mine, if at all they arise in future.
I prefer propagating BCSP through frequent listening sessions in
colorful topics/themes or say: a C90 cassette of 28 songs that
includes the music of the decade of the 30s; 40s; 50s; and 60s...uptil
the reign of 78rpms.,not forgetting to always include one song of KLS
as the 28th song in memorium. Every weekly session is given a new
selection from the old and colorful like the earlier one.
SLBC lacked this technique in their daily 7.30 to 8.00 am sessions
since it was more commercially minded - old cine music was just a
POPULAR MEDIUM that was effectively exploited commecially for nearly
25-30 years. If you look look back carefully, during those years, 4pm
to 7pm sessions daily of SLBC were engaged as: 4-5 pm for Malayam cine
music and 5-7pm only for TFM, with hardly any commercials
Therefore, I plan to give a new color to my weekly sessions by also
adding in " small dosages" a few colorful TF melodies alongwith the HF
melodies very soon.
Whether members come to listen to my small abode or not..is not the
point of issue. This has got to be executed ASAP. JUST DO IT is the
watch-word. The session has to go on from 5.30pm to 7.15 pm every week
as long as I am ALIVE.

Nobody ever bothered (or would ever bother in future) to ask you who
the male singer was. UZX made an intelligent guess, based on his
listening experience and knowledge of music. It was you who jumped in
and called him ignorant. If he was wrong, then you should have had the
courtesy to correct it. You did nothing of the sort. You went hammer
and tongs at the world at large and complaining of being badgered for
an answer, not forgetting in the process to sing paeans to your own so
called 'research', 'knowledge base' and 'sevaa'.

Question for Jay, what FLAC bitrate do you use to record on your C90
casette?
> Jay
> 7/12
First of all I must commend you on the fact that you have started
sharing some of your treasures. I especially enjoyed the bambai ka
babu and jikki song comparison.
The thought that listening is a much better form than reading/
discussing is also valid.
So a big thank you in advance to all the other 'audio evidence' that
you are going to provide.
First answer my question:
The GKs are your sacred 'REFCE BOOKS for info on any film song(s) from
1931-70.
If the GKs and the info contained therein is /are GENUINE-n-
trustworthy, why don't you refer them or discuss it with the PRO.
Did you do that - Have you done that?? If not, why have you not done?
Are they not responsible for providing AUTHENTIC info.
Why are you favouring them by NOT ASKING them on the forum? ASK YOUR
CONSCIENCE THIS QUESTION FIRST?
======================================================================================
After that I will reply you. Confine your reply to my question.
Jay
9/12
Why you want to know?
Don't thank me please ! I am not qualified for anything. JUST SERVE
DEDICATEDLY by providing LISTENING ACCESS as far as possible and
strive in the best possible manner.
I am no tech savvy...but I keep trying.
You are the ONLY PERSON / vrk who has offerred feedback as indicated
above
KEEP IT UP, please.
Jay

Dekh chaand ki aur musafir dekh chaand ki aur.
Aha! Mahesh say it is Sailesh.
> Why you want to know?
So that I can follow the same bceause they seem to provide great listening
experience for BCSP.
I make a prediction. Jay will never answer this or any other question from
any one.
Deepak
What do you mean by 'seem to provide' ? Why do you say that?
Jay
10/12
See Abhay? Jay only asks more questions. He has forgotten that people
he calls lazy and all other names were the ones who answered all his
questions about what encoding to use (mp3 or WAV or FLAC) and what bit
rate. People on this forum never asked him why he wants to know. They
never asked him if he will share his digitized music before answering
his questions. Jay thinks that he is entitled to people answering his
questions. But he is very selective on what questions he will answer.
He always is afraid of sharing his knowledge (or lack thereof). You
should leave him alone. Waste of your time asking him any questions.
Sad indeed....
Deepak
Dekh chand ki OR (as pronounced in ORE ) or AUR ( meaning 'still
more') !!
Kya farq padtha hai...? Shaayad aap logon ko
10/12
A question, allegedly from Jay, why do you make such accurate
predictions? ;-)
Regards
Sukesh
what predictions have I allegedly made as pointed out by yourself
above?
I dunno myself
Jay
10/12
Again more questions. BTW, Jay, Sukesh is not saying you (Jay) made
any predictions. Read his post again. He is asking me the question (on
your behalf) why am I making the prediction that you will never give
any answer. Just ask questions in reply to questions. Read his post
again.
Cheers....
Deepak (fan of HH and Profji)

Reporter Raju of the Dombivli Fast, a local tabloid, recently
interviewed a member of this forum, Shri Jayraman.
RR: Sir, I am honoured to interview you and and I am delighted that
today I would go home a wiser man after talking to you..
J: What is so honourable and delightful about this?
RR: I have heard that you have a collection of 78 rpms in mint
condition. Can you tell me how many such records do you have in your
possession?
J: You lazy journalists. Only looking for easy answers. Why can't you
do your homework properly before coming here?
RR: Never mind. I have heard that you have transfered your music
collection (records and cassettes) to FLAC format?
J: What is the purpose of this question?
RR: The music fans would like to know the bitrate and the sample rate.
J: Why do they wish to know?
RR: So that they can follow the same because they seem to provide
great listening experience for BCSP.
J: What is BCSP?
RR: Your organisation whose motto is 'Sewa Dharm Hamara'
J: What Sewa(iyaan)? What Dharm(endra)? You foolish man, tell me, what
has vermicelli got anything do with an actor?
RR: Next question. I was told that you were requested to read a tale
of a hunter and a grizzly bear. It was modified to make it fit for
family-reading. What was the moral of the story?
J: Where can I read the original?
RR: Is it true that you have compiled and would soon publish Bhartiya
Film Geet Kosh, based on the extensive research you have carried out
for the last 140 years?
J: Who told you that?
RR: Some (un)reliable sources told a member of the RMIM.
J: Why don't you direct this question to other members?
RR: Let us move on. As my knowledge of music of the 1950s is limited,
I was told that the music director of the 1950s musical 'Taxi Driver'
starring Dev Anand was Rahul Dev Burman. Is that correct?
J: You ignorant man, why are you bothering me with such questions? Why
not direct this question to the lazy and ignorant rmimers?
RR: Do I take it that you do not know the answer?
J: What is the hurry to know the answer? Why can't you wait?
RR: Sir, I enjoy listening to Hindi film music, whenever I find the
time, as there other other preoccupations in life. How can I get good
understanding of music in order to appreciate it in depth?
J: Don't you know the minimum age for person pursuing such a path?
RR: No Sir. You tell me and what else?
J: Why are you asking such difficult questions?
RR: Final question. Is your all time favourite song is 'ek sawaal
main.n karoo.n, ek sawaal tum karo, har sawaal kaa jawaab .. ' from
the 1961 silver jubilee hit 'Sasural'?
J: Correct. How did you know?
RR: Why should I tell you? Goodbye.
This is hilarious. And ridiculously on target! Thanks for the good
laugh. I hope everyone (including Jay) enjoys this :)
C
Clearly the pièce de résistance! Thanks for a good laugh.
Warm regards,
Abhay

ROTFL
AJ
Oh Solomon ( or is it Chanakya ! )
I know NOTHING whats lurking in you, him, and others like u all.
You have taken so much trouble in DESCRIBING in your WAY / MANNER for
whatever reasons.
TRUE - you have been successful and your friends are/will hail you any
no.of times. Ha ha ha...I too LOL with all of you.
You are not targetting me...remember this; RATHER you are targetting
INDIAN CINE MUSIC..remember this. Any time it may BOOMERANG...don't
forget this.
I lose nothing...just nothing. THE LOSERS ARE YOU ALL...all of you
partaking in the mockery of Indian cine music.
11/12
Jay, this is very sporting - totally unexpected :)
C
He did nothing of the sort.
Notice his arrogance. He is equating a dig at him as an attack on the
Indian Cine Music.
"ICM is Jay, Jay is ICM". Jay ho!
Rather, Jay serves ICM with fresh colorful INPUTS every time to
'enlighten' the music lovers in RIGHT / CORRECT manner .
Jay
12/12
He will stop his incessant nonsense if and only if people here stop
responding to him. What I find quite disturbing in all his posts, is
his tendency to glorify clear-cut cases of plagiarism by G Ramanathan
as creative improvisation. And when confronted, spell out a bunch of
red herrings - such as my age being less than 30, or me apparently
having no exposure to south Indian music, or that G Ramanathan is
above all logical criteria at a HUMAN LEVEL (sic).
Moreover, he is targeting individuals (the list keeps growing on, the
latest are the Radio Ceylon announcers), overlooking that the fact
none of these people have ever made a claim to be experts on Cine
Music, unlike him. He should check the dictionary for the meaning of
the word 'Jerk'.
Yes, I agree. From now, best to ignore him.

Sukesh
My name is S.Jayaraman DOB:11/3/1941. I am doing research n Hindi-n-
Tamil cine music since 1965 and still going on strong . These are my
practical qualifications. .Whats yours BTW
Can you also provide yours accordingly in the first place?
If you cannot comply to my above requests, your frustrations are
obvious..I sympathise with you..
If you cannot ( and you will not...for sure), better keep mum .
Jay
14/12
I knew that. I was merely looking for something praiseworthy in Jay's
post and, for once, draw him away from his habitually combative
stance. My guess is that my chance is spoilt now :)
C
Why on earth would anyone care to explain to you (of all people) what
one's qualifications are? The main point is that your date of birth
and all the other bragging from you is not relevant to the pinpointed
question that I have raised. One does not have to be listening to
music since 1965 to understand what tune is a copy of what.
But having any sort of debate with you is like "bhains ke aage been
bajaana".
Sorry about spoiling your chance this time. As you know, he is bound
to oblige you again sooner than later.
Regards
Sukesh
Since you are not face2face with me,...else I would have riddled you
with questions ON YOUR LEVEL of TASTE of MUSIC. The problem is that
you are INVISIBLE to my physical eyes and you skirt my legitimate
questions morally to make the discussion more interesting and
educative. Whether you accept my statement or not is out of question
now...since you know very well your weakness and the stance you are
adopting.
I bet you are not a matured listener , otherwise you would have
complied to my request alread. BTW, you are the only one who poses me
with the type of querries you are making...there are an umpteen lot I
daily face and provide them with aural data.
My stance is very clear on Naushad. Its upto YOU now...yes, YOU ( AR)
now, if you need more answers, else just keep you opinions to yourself
and your coterie.
I did give you an opportunity for constructive discussions subject to
compliance..you may be 20yrs old or 30 yrs or 40 yrs or 50 yrs or 60
yrs or even more & anywhere in between. But you must tell me honestly,
your name in full, location so that I can INVITE you for a discussion.
You can even call your like minded friends also if you desire for your
support.
Are you ready?
Jay
