ICM concerts in Singapore

We just relocated to Singapore and would like to find out
about ICM concerts / groups. Being so close to India, I
think (hope) there will be a busy concert schedule. Any
pointers? Google-ing yielded one Singapore Indian
Fine Arts Soc. Anything else for small scale / lower
profile events? Unfortunately no SPICMACAY in any
of the univs.

Hi

I have lived in Singapore for a while before moving to london three
years ago. SIFAS conducts yearly concerts of Dance and Music for
which you could buy tickets from them . Apart from that there is the
Sooryafestival which Happens twice a year. Please let me know and I
will get you connected to the organiser Dr.Chitra krishnakumar who is
a very good friend of mine.
SISTIC also post many events that happen there.

Thanks for the info. We did find out about Kalaa Utsavam by SIFAS
(in fact, enjoyed a nice Odissi recital last Sunday). I'd like to get
in
touch with Dr. Krisnakumar and know more about the Sooryafestival.
I was hoping there would be more small scale concerts (like those
organized by SPICMACAY).
