Here is the mp3 - http://www.mediafire.com/?m0cmijbzlye
I could remove the noise to some extent, but not totally.
Hope you people like it :)
And hope that, we get to hear him once more in the coming Sawai...

Actually, 'beloved' should have been the word instead of 'favorite'.
CMIIW again...
Thanks. I am sure all Marathi-speaking rmic'ers must have enjoyed it
like I did.
True to type, Bhimsenji just uttered a few short sentences. Most of
the talking was done by PL. But from Bhimsenji we got
-A kannada song and a too-short babul mora
- a remark PL passed over, but every student should note - "Riyaz is
practicing what you don't get (yet nahi in Marathi), not a concert
without audience".

Hi,
I happened to have the complete interview. Have posted it on:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/fv20yyzmdzh/Pu. La. - Bhimsen Joshi.mp3
I have also posted Pu La's opening remarks at the Aundh Sangeet
Mahotsav (I think it is from the early 90's) at the link below.
Barring the initial interruptions while the microphones were being
adjusted, like all his speeches, it's a delectable treat for the Pu La
fan. I had thought of translating it into English for the non-Marathi-
speaking RMIC'ers, but thought better of it!

Hope you enjoy it. In case anyone has difficulty downloading the
recordings, pl drop me a mail.
