If you want more of such scholarly penmanship check out

http://www.sarod.com/amjad/mastero_column.htm

Here you will find tributes to Michael Jackson, Princess Diana,
victims of air crashes, and a plea to postpone elections. Be careful
before clicking the Home link on top left, the images may not be
suitable for adult viewing.

It gets too delicious when a punchline appears more or less like:
“Mere baad tum naheen bajaoge toh kaun bajaega’ ( meaning- you alone
can play after me). vide: http://www.sarod.com/amjad/column_feb2008.htm

Also please note:

http://www.sarod.com/amjad/column_may2008.htm

"Of the many tours during that time, I can’t forget my 1984 US tour
that went on for more than two months, especially the concert in
Boston on 20th April. That concert became very memorable because the
Governor of Massachusetts declared 20th April as Amjad Ali Khan day in
the State of Massachusetts."

I was the organizer for that event, and the declaration of "Amjad Ali
Khan Day" was entirely my doing. Amjad also received a welcoming
pronouncement from the Mayor of Cambridge. Somewhere in my files I
have a photograph of myself in a 3-piece suit with then-Governor
Michael Dukakis, on the occasion of the signing of the Gubernatorial
proclamation for Khansaheb's special day. I wrote the proclamation,
filled with whereas-es and hereuntofore-s and let-it-be-known-unto-all-
present-that-s and similar archaisms, and the Governor's Office of
Proclamations put it onto a special piece of paper with the State Seal
and some pretty ribbons.

The declaration of honorary days is one of the perquisites of
Executive office. It is an easy way to please constituencies.
Because there is no prohibition regarding overlap, a given calendar
date may be an honorary day for several worthy causes. Alas, memory
does not reveal which other organizations shared a day with Amjad Ali
Khan.

Interesting site. I was surprised to read this

http://www.sarod.com/amjad/ragas.htm

He has composed almost 25 ragas.
