Although I do not understand the technicalities of singing, I am an
ardent classical vocal listener. The words of a bandish as Mr.
Parrikar and late Pt. Ramashreya Jha say, are often lost while
singing. Can anybody please give the words of the following three
bandishes in gaud sarang?
1)Saiyyon mai to ratadi
2) Mandi khabare na liti jani yaar ve
3)Yaar najar nahi aavunda

I also heard ustad Ghulam Hassan Shaggan singing a bandish "Mahayogi
aaya" which he attributed to Pt. Bhaskarbua Bakhale. Does anybody have
the lyris for this too?

Thanks for your time,

RS

While it is practically difficult to fulfil your multiple requests
(given the poverty of documented texts coupled with some known
safeguarding strategies of traditional idiotism), here goes the first
bandish, you had asked for. (I don't know the rest)

सैंयॊ मैं तो रचनी धरीए वेजमानी ।

हाथन मेंहदी भीन वस्त्र
चूरे भरी वे कलाइयां ॥

I don't know about complete bandish but all three lines which you have
writtten are in punjabi.
1)Saiyyon mai to ratadi - Friends I am colored (with love)
2) Mandi khabare na liti jani yaar ve - My beloved you have not asked
my whereabouts.
3)Yaar najar nahi aavunda - I don't see my beloved.
