So how may of us are actually left now, about 5-7?

I find myself more on Twitter these days, though I still check in here
every day to have a look around.
As for Twitter. It's just where you get the news before everybody else.
Besides, Beezer is there, Alan, Natti, T.Tauri, mocha... it's like more
limited and harder to have a conversation beyond 140 characters, but
it's where shit is happening, so...

yeah, I just made a Twitter post, so far I only have Alan and Mocha I
think?

But yeah, I totally use Twitter as a big-ass never-ending newspaper
now. It's so timely it's scary. I hear helicopters buzzing me at
midnight a few days ago, I jump on Twitter and I'm watching live
Occupy Oakland footage from someone's iPhone.

What's your name over there?
I'm Sirbumpalot (when I chose that name, I didn't expect to get so drawn
into it, and now it's too late to change to something really cool, like
Postmaster Loo, or something.)

Still here. Busy couple of months, and nothing really of interest to
say, so have popped my head in here, and then jumped back off.

Twitter and Facebook is where I ramble inanely mostly.

We need to start a campaign to get Matt onto twitter. Keep the
pressure on everyone.

One of us! One of us!

Yeah. That.

i still try to check back. but yeah, it's getting quiet around here.

someone really needs to start a compelling online hangout for rmhh
expats and others that would fit in with that group. i need more of
that sort of music discussion online.

if i actually quit my job in the next few weeks as planned, i'll see
what i can do (only half joking here). someone hold me to that.

lucky you. you still actually have the luxury of deciding whether or
not to quit your job.

I remember those days......

Yeah, could you build us a Twitter with, say, ten times the characters
allowed, better visualization of threads and a button that says
"physically annihilate this spambot"? That'd be grand.

Tim set up a messge board not too long ago.
The migration didn't quite work.

As far as message board options go I could
get used to a proboards.com template. Easy
to handle, with log-in or without.

Apart from the fact that there's no new blood
coming in I'm happy here (i.e. reading rmhh
with Free Agent.) But unlike you tech savvy
folks I only use 1 computer.

31, single, no kids, need to get some projects out of my system and
figure out where to go next. want to go out on a good note with my
current job (which i've been at forever, and have generally really
liked, but which i've recently started liking less). kind of feel like
it's the most reasonable choice.

yeah, last year, and i was totally in favor of that, and posted there a
bit, but it never caught on.

i'm fine with newsgroups, though more and more i would kind of like a
web board (and not google groups, or google+ for that matter, though i
do like many of the ideas in google+).

better thread visualization and better thread handling than most of the
web boards i've seen would both be important features. i'd probably
just try to write publishing plugins for twitter, rss, etc, some sort of
simple generic notifications mechanism.

i've got pretty much the same problem in a lot of situations, try as i
might to make up for it by setting alarms earlier and such.
