As a German dance project, how could Chill Rob G have
had any involvement? "The Power" doesn't read like him.
Remember Turbo had been stationed in Germany.
The only obvious bite is the line "It's gettin kinda hectic"
(from "Let the Words Flow") which prominently appears in
the Snap song.
Some net sources claim Rob's "The Power" existed before
Snap's, which I clearly dispute. Instead, offended by the
aforementioned bite HE adopted the Snap beat (with
their consent) and used portions of "Let the Words Flow"
for it.
Remember Rob's version of "The Power" is musically
radically different from anything you hear on his album.

Oh be fair, that's got nothing to do with it. The Shuggie tune below
isn't sophisticated, neither is the handful of hip hop I do really like.
I guess its got more to do with the track than the lyrics for me.
Jay-Z is an example of someone who puts together infectious tracks that
you can't deny no matter what genre you prefer.
