I keep thinking that her next latest screw-up will be the thing that
finally makes people realize what a true "know-nothing" opportunist we
have here. We tried this before with Dubya and even most Republicans
were sick of him after 8 years. Sarah is actually worse, and the

Republican, have you noticed? His policies are Bush's policies. If you
want to see what our country's future is, look to Latvia, under
Clinton's and Bush's orders and Obama's orders the International
Monetary Fund insisted that Latvia reduce it's number of hospitals.
When Clinton came to office there were 200 hospitals in Latvia, he
made sure they reduced that number. Under Bush there were 7 hospitals,
now Obama's ordering the International Monetary Fund to insist there
will be 3 hospitals. This is the future of class war in the USA under
Republican Palin or under Republican Obama.

ok, I saw the diet coke thread, to be honest with you I dont have
clear opinion on this yet,I mean regarding sweetened soda and
pancreatic cancer, the study is interesting to say the least, still I
dont know if the number of cancers in the study is big enough to draw
concrete conclusions, but I will stay clear from sweetened sodas for
the obvious reason: Obesity and Diabetes, I once told a patient to
quit regular soda< he was drinking 6-12 a day> and he lost 20 ibs in
less than two months, and his Diabetes was almost cured< technically
you can;t cure diabetes, but he came of his meds> and that was a good
thing because he had no insurance and those meds as cheap as they
were< generics> were still alot of money for the man....
regarding Diet coke, in theory should not have the same risk for DM
and obesity, but no study yet have proven that....regarding the cancer
and Diet coke...I really don't know

three times a month. When I eat out I usually have iced tea, hot tea, or

There have been several posts referring the the acidity of cola. Colas
containing phosphoric acid have been associated with a increased risk of
kidney disease, and of osteoporosis in women (but not men). OTOH, the
acidity of colas also makes biological contamination less likely. When I'm
traveling outside of the U.S. I usually drink colas or something that's been
boiled (tea or coffee).
