Note: this is not an attempt to document my own personal musical
preferences, but rather to "salute" a certain mindset which
has long flourished in this newsgroup. Apologies to Vince,
Bobby, Zappa, Phish, Traffic, and dozens of other artists
whose music I love and respect.
