Panic for $40. Sure. That's it though. I wouldn't mind seeing Alison
Krauss, but not in a million years for $60.

I saw this one ^^ and it was great, at a completely sold out Wolf
Trap. The rest of the list is a documentqation of the decline of
western civilization. Interesting that all those people would pay
$114 to not see Michael Jackson, when I actually saw him I think it
cost about $17.50.

Foo Fighters are worth every penny. They never fail to put on a hell
of a show.

I'm surprised people are willing to pay an average of $56 to see a Perry-less
Journey.

I'd go for 18 and 20, and maybe 14 if I didn't have to drive far and was
offered really good seats.

Indeed, $60 is quite a moderate ticket price these days. It's as if some
folks stopped going to concerts in the late 80s and only recently discovered
what it now costs to see a big-name act.

I believe you, but it still helps to be into a band to really enjoy them
live. I have one or two of their albums but couldn't name a single song.

These would be the folks who get sloshed by the time the warmup act is done
and stand there singing along in a drunken bellow and yelling the names of
their favorite songs as if the band will change the setlist at their
request--they might not even know Mr. Perry is not onstage.

If I can't get suite tickets, I'm not paying for them. WSP is coming
to Charlotte on 12/31 - I wonder how many in my office will try to
score some. Free food, free booze and a bathroom 23 steps away, i'm
spoiled as hell. Only one I would pay for is Sade. I was out of town
when she was around.

I just bought a ticket for Moe. at a small club in SF ( Independent)
$30....bought it at the box office, so no fee...I can live with that.
Anything over $60 for a rock concert makes me think twice.

Damn, you're tough. I'd enjoy the Foo Fighters, Cirque de Soleil,
Santana, WSP, Alison Krauss and Ray LaMontagne.

But Jeezus Keerist, Jeff Dunham has a multimillion dollar tour going

My list, too. I had tickets to see the Foos in DC, but conflicted
with Furthur in AC so I sold them. Next time...

Last time Carlos was around here, summer before last, he was
fantastic.

I'd go see Keith Urban if I got good free seats, just to see if he can
play guitar as well as I've heard.

wearing a skirt and holding his finger in the air...aint THAT a bitch.
Nah...DONT judge me on one "jamband" concert...it's 4 blocks

Not to be picky, but if he's 4 blocks from the Independent it would
hard to also be 6 blocks from GAMH.
