i had this weird dream last night, right? i'm at work (it's pathetic when you
dream you're at work, i know) and someone tells me that Bob is here for his
filling. so i say, "um... Bob who?" they look at me funny and say "Bob
Dylan... your next patient." Bob walks in wearing this terry cloth bathrobe,
like the ones they give away as free gifts on infomercials (maybe his goal in
life is to be Arthur Dent, who knows...) he sits down, i do the filling,
and... BEEEP...BEEEP...BEEEP.....

<sigh... i hate waking up in the morning.>

anyways, it was very bizarre. i had this other dream in December, where i was
at my friend's house, sitting and having coffee with Ken Kesey. you know, just
shooting the breeze. i wake up (naturally, no alarm clock, gotta love the
weekend :o), and go on the internet that morning (12-10-01), and find out that
he had died. strange indeed. i actually felt a little guilty about that, it
was like i saw it coming or something.

last year, i had a dream that i was driving in San Francisco (though i've never
been there) and i look over and Jerry is sitting in my car. we start talking,
and we're just driving for awhile, smoking cigs, listening to music (not
theirs, just music in general). i look down and his missing finger is on his
left hand. i say to him, "you're missing a finger on the wrong hand" (tactful,
i know). he looks down says "oh man, i guess it is." he laughs and then
disappears.

has anyone else here had dreams with band members or other famous people in
them? what did they say/do? what did you say/do?

When I was a kid I had a recurring nightmare... the New Kids on the
Block [remember, we're talking late 80's here...] would come to my
school and get me out of my class. We'd go on stage and I was all of
a sudden the 6th New Kid on the Block. And I'd be singing with them,
running around shoutnig "Hangin' Tough" and whatnot... and then I'd
realize I was in my underwear on stage with the new kids on the block.
And then I'd wake up.

One night I had dinner with Bobby in a dream... Don't remember anything
of it except we ate dinner. LOL there was probably some WeirSauce on
it. =c)

And when I was really into a glam-rock outfit from NYC, Psychotica, I
had sexual dreams about their lead singer constantly. [he's a
cutie...] I don't think I need to get into detail.

Beka, maybe your dreams are really portents-- Next time Dylan comes
to town maybe he'll be chowing down on some peanut brittle or
something, and crack a tooth. You'll be at work and all of a sudden
Bob Dylan will come running through to door screaming about the pain
in his mouth. =c)

Hello,

Not recently but I just got back from the mall where I saw Sheryl Crow on the cover
of one of those new magizines. "Sheryl Crow Spreads Her WIngs" says the blurb.

She has a new CD coming out and the magizine features her in an interview / very
sexy baby doll photos. No doubt I will dream about her sooner or later.

I still can't believe that she is 40!

Have a nice day, :)

not with a ten-foot pole...

cool, i think i'm gonna start charging folks $2.95 an hour to tell their
future. unfortunately, it may only work with famous people.
make that $295.

we have some Dylan shows at the office, i think. i could put one on and
serenade him with his own music. the dentist could sing backup. the hygienist
will play tambourine and wail occasionally. LOL!!!

A few months ago I had this crazy dream where I was standing outside this
cottage on a beautiful spring day, looking through a window into the living
room. Who should be inside but Jerry and Bob Weir (circa 1989) tuning up
their guitars and chatting away. Apparently they had a gig that night and
were talking about song selection. I could hear everything they were saying
and eventually they looked over to the window, saw me and said hi. All I
could say was "How is the weather supposed to be tonight." Moronic thing to
say, but hey it was a dream.

I used to have the coolest dream with Bob Weir starring. I would be in
a huge grassy field-type setting and in the distance I could see a low
fence running as far east and west as I could see, assuming I was
heading/looking north. On the other side of the fence, leaning on it
was Bobby. I would walk to the fence and we would discuss whatever
issues/problems/concerns I was dealing with and he would like, advise
me. I thought it was pretty neat at the time and I had this same dream
pretty frequently for a while!

I've also had too many guest-appearances, musical guests and celebrity
cameos to list them all...i remember as a kid I had a stress-dream
about trying to get Matt Dillon's autograph (he was in my Grandma's
kitchen giving me a hard time) and just last week or so I had a
similar one about Stephen King...weird.

I had a dream where Garcia helped clean up my bathroom after a party and
another where Garcia was playing soccer all dressed in white... I then
realized, maybe I should take a breath between tours....

I once had a dream that Natalie Imbruglia was my girlfriend. We
were at the grocery store. I had a dream recently that I was robbing
a music store with Paulie and Christopher from The Sopranos. The Dead
have played at the Circleville Pumpkin Show quite a few times (or
maybe I keep dreaming about the same show).

I've had dreams where I was on stage jamming with the Dead. In one
dream, I was playing drums and leading the band through a chant during
the drums/Space part of the show.

had a dream that the boyes were playin at i dunno where...but anyway, they
hired me to be "the swing master". They set up this huge swing attached to a
ball bearing. I got to jam out in the sky above the crowd.

I saw that magazine cover too. She looks like fucking Britney Spears.
Sad that she has to stoop to that level to sell records-- she was
actually a decent songwriter for a while-- haven't heard anything new
though.

Sadly, other famale rockers are stooping to the Britanny image in fear of not selling
records. Garbage did that too alienated a lot of their fans buy releaseing pop drivel on
their latest album.
