It's Friday afternoon, 2:45pm on 11/20, and if you're in the San
Francisco Bay Area, drop whatever you are doing and head out to 19
Broadway in Farifax (www.19broadway.com).

Further is playing there tonight.

Wristbands are currently available, getting you one ticket per wristband.
Tix go on sale at 5:30pm, door at 6:00pm, show at 8:00pm. $35.

If it's anything like the last time I was there, it will definitely
have that east coast down front vibe, as they oversold the joint to
the gills for a W. Ed show, so it's gonna be insane for Further.
Sucked so much, I swore I'd never go back, haven't, and even this
didn't entice me, even though I'd love to see them play in a place
like this, since they haven't played anything this little since the
Magoos.

No shit, I've been that to that place a bunch of times when my buddy's
band played there. Thats going to be a zoological clusterfuck, not
for me thanks, whether I still lived there or not. I can't believe
they considered that a good idea. God what a mess that will be.

It really isn't smaller than Sweetwater is, is it? But I remember the
place being oddly arranged for live music, kind of L-shaped.

It's probably twice as big as Sweetwater but only around half the
place has good sight lines, it is an odd arrangement. I'll be curious
to hear the show, you got to like them playing in a Marin County dive.

Jesus H Christ. Sorry for interrupting your never-ending, childish flame
fests.

I get an inside tip on a show that you would have all loved to see, and
not even a thank you. Had you all acted on my post when I posted it, you
would have all gotten in. But, bitching and complaining must be more fun.

Disgusted with RMGD.

Thank you.

If I lived in the area I would have been all over it.

Y'know, DG, leaving rmgd for year and a half sure puts a whole new
perspective on it all. You should try it; it might do you a world of good.

I mean...it's not like anyone here is even friends. It's just one argument
after another, and meanwhile, the fucking world is falling apart and
there's a lot you could be doing in that real world, rather than wasting
all your time here on rmgd, arguing with people whose sole purpose in
interacting with you is to put you down.

Do you really need that in your life?

Oh, dear. Sanctimoaning alert. Pack your bags, folks, as it looks like
we're going on a guilt trip.

Joe, when did this needy-bleedy thing become a full-time gig for you?

Can't speak for those out of the area, but, yeah, I would have been
able to get there in time to get in, had I dropped what I was doing,
canceled my plans for the evening, and slogged through Friday rush
hour traffic from Alameda to Fairfax, a 45 minute drive at the best of
times, which Friday evening decidedly isn't. But I coulda done it had
I really wanted to go. Only problem is, I didn't really wanna go, as
my plans were already set and they were gonna be a lot more fun,
anyway.

Knowing the venue and the way they pack 'em in there, fully realizing
there wasn't gonna be any room to dance, I calculated all the
variables and decided that going for it, given the clock and the field
position I was facing, was not the best choice, hence I punted.

> Disgusted with RMGD.

Ain't you always. Bitching and complaining suck, unless it's you
bitching and complaining about rmgd.

You blew it, bad call, I read a report that there was an 86% chance
the show was gonna be great.

When I left RMGD and found that in the real world, people gave a shit
about what I had to say, rather than playing the one-upmanship game that's
taken over - and ruined - rmgd.

You worked hard for it rmgd, and I'd say you got exactly what you
deserved. Go dogs; your wereo master calls.

I care what you have to say, Joe. That might not mean much but it's
something.

I deserve a million dollars in small bills in a large bag. And if I
had a million dollars I'd buy my wife a fur but not a real fur because
that would be cruel.

This needy-bleedy thing became a full-time gig whenyou left rmgd and
found that in the real world people gave a shit about what you had to
say?

Uh, Joe, it's clear you have issues, but they aren't with us.

That's not exactly true, Joe. I have made some real friends here on
rmgd. Not everybody is out to put folks down... and some of us live
quite full lives despite hanging on the list here. I mean, don't you?
