As is soccer:

http://bayesianheresy.blogspot.com/2007/01/home-team-bias-in-soccer.html

and baseball:

http://www.litmuszine.com/sportsology/3.12.07.html

And baseball is also racist:

http://www.hks.harvard.edu/inequality/Seminar/Papers/Hamermesh09.pdf

And the only reason there isn't an equivalent study for football is
because it hasn't been done yet... (or I at least didn't find it)...

And perhaps the non sequitur of the year.

You're trying to draw equivalences between mountains (basketball),
molehills (soccer), and dirt molecules (baseball).

And the racist thing is totally out of left field. What it says is
that people are sensitive to differences in ethnicity and umpires
are people. Baseball has a racist past, no doubt about that, and
there is a long way to go in terms of management and executive
positions, but the progress in my lifetime is visible.
